FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT JEWELRY PACIFICA?
Simply email us at info@jewelrypacifica.com. This
is also the best way to make contact about customizing
a special piece. If you see something you like
in our web catalog but want it somewhat different,
please make contact. I may have the beads in my
inventory to fulfill your request.
CAN WE CALL JEWELRY PACIFICA WITH QUESTIONS?
Yes, please be aware of the time difference for
Hawaii. We do not observe Daylight Savings Time
so we are either 5 or 6 hours behind the east
coast of America and either 2 or 3 hours behind
the west coast. You are welcome to leave a message
and we will return your call during our business
hours. (M-F 8am to 4pm)
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
In the United States of America, on the Island
of O'ahu, Hawaii, in the small town of Kahalu’u.
CAN WE VISIT YOUR SHOWROOM?
At this time, we have a small showroom and a
beautiful tropical garden where we welcome guests
by appointment only. Be aware that we leave the
islands several times a year and travel between
our neighbor islands every month so it would
be wise to call our showroom at (808) 239-1104
to schedule a time to visit. You can temporarily
visit www.hawaiianlandscapes.com to see more
interesting information about our facility and
my husband’s watercolor talents
that are also featured at our showroom. www.boyersgallery.com
will be the future site for our showroom and
garden.
DO YOU HAVE A CATALOG?
Sorry, but we don’t offer a catalog. We create
one-of-a-kind pieces and it would be difficult
to provide an up-to-date catalog. Our web catalog
features many finished pieces but please make contact
via email if you are looking for something specific.
I always have several unfinished pieces in the
works that may be what you are looking for. I would
be happy to email photos of unfinished pieces and
pieces not yet posted to our web catalog to serious
buyers.
DO YOU SELL INDIVIDUAL BEADS?
Not at this time.

Please keep in mind that the slight imperfections resulting from the
use of natural stones enhance the exquisite beauty of our jewelry. In
addition, due to variations in computer systems, the color of a piece
can only be approximated.
IS YOUR JEWELRY SAFE FOR A
CHILD OR BABY TO WEAR?
Our jewelry is not intended for young children or
babies as it contains small parts. As a safety precaution,
you should not leave small children unattended when
they are wearing any jewelry adornment.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY PACIFICA PIECES?
We want you to enjoy
your jewelry as long as possible! Please remember
that the lifetime of your jewelry depends on
the care with which it's treated. Below you will find
care and recommendations for cleaning and storing
your jewelry. This list is not all-inclusive,
just some pointers for some of the most common improper
care used in jewelry care.
Put on your jewelry after you have applied
your makeup and used your hairspray.
Always remove your jewelry before using chemical
products.
It's best not to hang your jewelry. Place it
inside a pouch or jewelry box instead.
Do not leave your jewelry lying in the sun.
The sun can cause discoloration or fading.
Do not pull, tug, or twist your jewelry, especially by the jewels or pearls.
Sterling silver wire is delicate and will stretch and break if subjected
to too much stress. Silk, satin, leather and even stainless steel will also
stretch.
Most of the time, all you need to do to keep your jewelry clean and ready
to wear is to use a jewelry cloth to gently wipe each piece clean after wearing.
To help retard tarnish when not wearing your jewelry, store in an air tight
sealed zip-seal bag.
To remove fingerprints, oils or dirt, add a small amount of mild liquid soap
to half cup of warm water, soaking for 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with
clean water and use only a jewelry cloth to pat dry your pieces. Make sure
they are completely dry before storing them in an air tight, zip-seal bag.
Please do not ever use toothpaste or other abrasives to clean metal or stones,
and avoid abrasive commercial jewelry cleaners or "dips," especially
on pieces with an oxidized finish. Silver polish can remove the color, and
harsh polishing cleaners will alter the antique look of your jewelry.
Please do not ever use dips on gemstones or pearls. To remove excessive tarnish
on silver, polish with a jewelry cloth and a non-abrasive metal cleaner.
Avoid soaking pearls and soft stones such as amber, lapis lazuli, turquoise,
emerald, malachite, or onyx. Extended soaking in any solution may harm the
polish on the stone. Wipe them gently with a jewelry cloth until clean.
Never wear pearls while bathing, swimming or hot tubbing.
Use a clean, soft, dry cloth to wipe your pearls clean after wearing, and
store them in a soft pouch or cloth.
Wash pearls in a mild soap
and rinse well. Allow them to air dry laying
on a soft towel.
