Agate is a relatively hard stone that can be found all over the world, translucent to opaque, in a rainbow of colors, although green and blue are rare. It is the Zodiac gemstone for Gemini and the anniversary stone celebrating 35 years of marriage.

Agate is considered a powerful emotional healer. It is believed to improve memory and concentration, increase stamina and encourage honesty. The agate that I used this season was purchased in Mandalay, Myanmar a few years ago.
